Greg Pugh Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 I really thought I was going to be able to squeeze out just one more before the year ended but I've been waiting on some stuff from Chrometech and it doesn't look like I'll make it. Oh well, jump start on next year's lineup! So it looks like just two for me. Both Monogram kits, 1958 Thunderbird done in the traditional custom flavor and a 1953 Corvette done in the modern Pro Touring style.
kruleworld Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 i'm not sure what i think is best, your modelling skill or your photography skills. that thunderbird is awesome
DeeCee Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 That is 2 High Quality builds mate, very sweet.
W-409 Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Great job! That Thunderbird is a real beauty, just like I'd want mine if I had one in 1:1 scale. That paint job fits perfectly to those body shapes. Corvette is done very nicely, too, but it's just too modern for me. Excellent job on both cars though, looking forward to see what you do in 2016!
Modlbldr Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Very nice builds. The paintwork on the Tbird is perfect and I enjoyed watching your build of the Vette. Since seeing what you did on the Vette I have been eyeing that kit on the hobby shop shelf. I may just have to pick one up and build it.Later-
Hawk312 Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Excellent work on both! Where did the wheels come from for the `vette?
Speedfreak Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Really nice Greg! I like'em both, but , I really like the 'vette, fantastic.
Greg Pugh Posted December 26, 2015 Author Posted December 26, 2015 Excellent work on both! Where did the wheels come from for the `vette? They were loose in a Ziploc bag at a large car swap meet. I believe they're from a Dub City diecast though.
10thumbs Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Those two show excellent building and painting skills. Great styling too, I like that you did you're thing. Compliments. You did good.
horsepower Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Larry Watson would give you a big thumbs up on the 'Bird, it's a great job on a wonderful model.
