My wife and I have our 30 year anniversary tomorrow ( Monday ). Where does the time go ? For our celebration we will be going to Vegas to see a concert middle of next month. Neither one of us have ever been to a concert so it should be fun. You youngsters will not probably know these people but we are seeing " The Cowsills" and " Tommy Roe ". The older folks here will probably remember them. Anyone ever been to the Eastside Cannery Casino ? That's where we are staying and where the concert is being held.

Thank you all ! Thanks for the video Harry, maybe that song will help some people remember the group. That one and "Hair " I think were their biggest hits along with " Indian lake ".

Yep, those were their biggest three hits. And they also did the opening theme song from the TV show "Love, American Style."

That woman playing guitar in the first video I posted is Susan Cowsill, with two of her brothers, part of the original Cowsills band (that video is from this year, 2015). Here she is doing the same song back in 1967 with her brothers (and mom) when it first came out... she's the adorable little girl with the tambourine. Wow, where does the time go?

Happy anniversary, Ray.

The Cowsills were a somewhat local act, being from Rhode Island. When we had stations that focused on 1950s-early '70s music, they were played regularly around here, so yes, I'm familiar with them. "Happy" I think was the song they usually played.

Charlie Larkin

I stand corrected. The song in Harry's video is the one they usually played. One of my favorites.

You're just a little shy of us, Ray.  The Lovely and Gracious Mrs. B and I will be celebrating our 35th in Feb!

Enjoy the concert and show . . . and Lost Wages!
