I've got the 2 community builds this year.....main priority;)

B.R.B.O. Revell Kenworth T600;

'Aussieball' Tamiya Toyota Corolla WRC;

On the side......

AMT '55 Nomad (another forum CB)

After that, will see what happens, maybe start prep work on two old MPC kits, 67 and 68 Pontiac Bonneville Hardtops:)

Just finished a TIE Interceptor

for 2018:

  • a '68 Barracuda, box stock
  • The Revelle '29 Model A. Going to build this one with a flathead motor instead of the Buick motor. I have some nice resin heads, and carbs.
  • Finish a long-delayed build.
  • Start the Pegasus Nautilus

My main emphasis is on building at least four Deuces for the upcoming Deuce Days gathering of 1:1 rods in Victoria this summer. Our club, SPAM (Scale Plastic Auto Modellers) will be hosting the model show at this event and we are encouraging all to join in! On the workbench is a chopped 5 window on an early dragster frame, a Bonneville roadster, a vintage three window hot rod, and a Vicky built for the strip.

If planning a trip come join us in the Pacific Northwest on Vancouver Island (our Canuck Buck is worth nearly $1.50 US!!)

Well considering I have just come back to the hobby. I have just started to do a replica of a mates street registered drag car (Nissan R32 Skyline GTR)......will be taking my time on it as I's just getting back into it.

Tough I will be showing my progress on another thread.

Just a curious question to people......on average how long does it take for YOU to complete a model ??????

2-3 months on average for me.

I would like to finish a few that I have started.These kits are 64 Chevy super shaker, 62 Pontiac,41 Willy's,68 Hemi Dart among

others.With my mind set and dexterity in my hands,some times all I can do is sit and stare at them.Doing the small bits is some

times just impossible.

I'm steadily working on the 1960 Plymouth airport limo that was my holiday amnesty car for 2015.  I want to finish it soon.

Then I'm going to participate in the 24 hour build. I've chose to build the Tom Daniel S'cool Bus this year.  (last weekend in January)

Then life will be a blur up to NNL East. Lots to do as always!

Then life will also progress quickly as my daughter is getting married in August.

I would like to finish some of the stuff I have on the bench. Things I started in the past few years and just need a bit of determination to get finished!

My plan is to finish more than I start. I've got quite a few unfinished from last year. I've only started 3 so far and finished 1. So I guess I'm not going as planned so far.

My plans are to actually build and finish a few...haven't done much since we came home to a burnt house back in '11,just hadn' tbeen in the mood much like I once was. That's been nearly 5 years ago,and seems so ancient in history it isn't what keeps me from building,LOL,just the habit of not building for so long does :P
