I showed off a sneak peek at this one in the Jo-han models thread. Here it is now, with the foil done and the wash added to the panel lines. The paint is Duplicolor bright aqua teal, with Krylon Dual satin ivory on the roof. The interior is Duplicolor GM light blue, and some shade of white that I can't remember. This is just a quick mockup to see if I like my choice of wheels (Moebius ' 56 300).

Approval is given. ;)

Looks great Smelly!

The color is terrific & you can't go wrong with wire wheels on these old Mopars.

I've used Modelhaus wires on several of my early 60s Mopar builds & they look great!

Build on!

Yes, yes, yes. Nice. nice. nice. What a good looking car and a definite YES on the wheels.

To be honest, I love the wheels but I might go with tires with a little smaller diameter to lower it a bit - how do the Moebius tires compare in size to the new AMT wide whites (or the American SATCO tires if you have them)?

I do like that color combo and the wheels are great.

The ribbed inserts on the seats and carpet should be closer to navy blue, but the light blue vinyl and dash, from what I've been able to tell, are right.

Another super-nice job.

The interior is far from finished. I was actually saving that for last, since it's likely to try my patience. Wasn't trying for a factory color combo, either inside or out. I'll settle for "looks nice".
