kilrathy10 Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 (edited) Finally got this one done....Now I can get to my BiRBO !!! I had a blast building this one, for sure....I had a few issues, but overall, this project was just too much fun.....I loaded it up with 4 models I did a while ago, with the exception of the Camaro ZL-1 and the Chrysler.....I JUST finished the Camaro, today and the Chrysler a couple weeks ago.....Two die cast models were thrown into the mix (2 orange mustangs).....I was surprised at how strong the trailer is after I glued the upper ramps together.....Supports everything on it's own.....I also added some tool boxes to it.....It didn't look quite right until I installed them.....Then it all came together.......Anyway....Here are the pics......I hope y'all enjoy them.... kilrathy10 Posted January 24, 2016 Author Posted January 24, 2016 (edited) I also added some length to the uppers to accommodate up to 4 vehicles up top.....Or, as pictured, a couple of bikes....I'll get some paint on those, soon..... Edited January 24, 2016 by kilrathy10

kilrathy10 Posted January 24, 2016 Author Posted January 24, 2016 (edited) Wow man, this is real heavy duty building. Looks great! Why all orange? Thanks, Guys.....Ask anybody.....It's my trade mark.....Seriously, I started painting stuff orange after I found a case of it at the dollar store.....It looked good, and it just took off from there...... Just found some Krylon in a little bit lighter orange there....Bought another 9 cans.... Edited January 24, 2016 by kilrathy10
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Great looking rig! I too like the orange but was curious to the story behind it. I thought maybe it was a sports team color that you favored or maybe you were an Allis Chalmers man. Excellent Work!!
redneckrigger Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Nice build!!! And if it ain't orange, we know it wasn't built by you!
Canso65 Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Your rig turned out nice JT. You should be getting a volume discount on the paint. Rob
OlSchoolRedo Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Nice man, you have knocked this one out of the park for sure! Don't worry about the orange paint, just let us fellow modelers know in advance when you're ready to buy more, so we can stock up first! Great job JT!!
Kenny900 Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 (edited) I'm not a big fan of the lonestars, but this looks a million dollars! Nice work! Edited January 25, 2016 by Kenny900

1959scudetto Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Excellent truck/trailer combo, JT - now we all know why orange has become your trademark... :-)
1959scudetto Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Well done, JT. Man, that's a lot of orange! Where did you get the 1/25 motorcycles?Jim, Italeri has/had several trucks with racing trailer in different liveries - some of them included a metal/plastic model of a racing bike: here is Valentino Rossi's 500 cc world championship contender from 2000/2001 (Honda NSR)
