Demerovingian
Thanks to my man NYCHARLIE 1962 for getting me really back into modeling and painting my own cars. I'm still getting the hang of painting cars and yeah...I know some of you might laugh...put I still use brushes and spray paint cans. Charlie is going to teach me how to be the Master Painter like him! Here is one of the latest projects, Bandai Bugatti Royale Type 41 Coupe De Ville. I decided to paint it all black instead of the white insert on the rights sides of the hood. The all black just appealed to me better. I drilled out the ignition wires and added a few more custom "looking" engine details and a carpet made from the inside of a glove! Well here they are... D. Battista
Very nice Bugatti.....!is that 1/16 scale...?
espo
Beautiful build. The Black paint looks very smooth. I have used my air brush of and on depending on what part I'm working on. My present project is a '67 El Camino and I painted it today using Tamiya TS-21 Gold straight from the can. Very happy with the finish. I still believe that you can get an excellent paint job from a quality spray paint with a little prep work and polishing afterwards. Your extra effort on the engine detailing really paid off. Kmb0319
Are you positive this is a model and not some pics you took at an auto museum? This is phenomenal!!! The finish, the engine details, even the wood trays in the back seat.... Really impressive!

HotRodaSaurus
What was the base kit for this? I have the Italieri Coupe Napoleon model. I always wanted to do a replica of the Schlumpf car after seeing it in the museum.
Eric Macleod
I think this is exceptionally well done. I think your engine compartment could serve as a reference for the rest of us.
