bondo bill Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Here's a look at what I'm working now. All of them have/had paint issues that I'm in the middle of sorting out. Comments welcome! AMT Drag Cobra. Paint issues are fixed, but need to decal and assemble. Revell '29 Roadster. The body needs to be repainted, and then assemble everything. AMT '70 Heavy Chevy Custom. This one needs lace decals and assembly. AMT '32 Vicky Gasser. I need to finish the assembly on this one. Revell '57 Ford Wagon. The engine needs to be painted and finished, as well as the interior. The roof paint needs some repair too. AMT '71 T-bird. I'm making this into the Big Boss 429, adding a hood scoop and back window louvres. I have some '70 Torino wheels that I'll add in. Revell '74 Gran Torino. I need to fix some paint and black out portions of the hood, roof, and trunk. I'm adding some '70 Torino wheels and a hood scoop. Once again, comments welcome!
Tom Geiger Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 A project isn't stalled unless it's several years old. Anything less is still "in progress"
MrBuick Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 They all look great to me. Which one are you most anticipating getting done?
Miatatom Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 I agree, they look great. Looks like you enjoy painting them. Maybe you should team up with someone that loves assembly!
Davewilly Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 those all look pretty nice! I really like the 70 Impala & the 57 wagon
Deathgoblin Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Your work looks really nice. Why so many stalled projects?
wayne swayze Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 You have a nice group of models started, I wouldn't know which one I'd start on, but they're ALL worthy of being finished! I like the wagon a lot!
espo Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 They all look like you got off to a great start and then saw another model that you got interested in. I also used to have 2 or 3 projects going and none ever got finished. Now I just force myself to finish what I'm working on before starting another.
Foxer Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 nice group there .. I have many stalled Projects but my Modeling hasn't stalled in the least!

Speedfreak Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 I love to paint, so , I can understand where you're coming from, paint on my friend! I agree with Dave, the Impala and the '57 wagon are stunning.
Nytrozilla Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 You actually made my day. I've got 3 stalled projects to your 7. Thank you Bill.I'm sure when the inspiration hits, you'll be all over it.
Roadrunner Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 I can see myself starting to accumulate a pile of started, but unfinished stuff too, and I'm trying to change that behavior, big time.
