Revell's 2017 Ford GT

[Porscheman]

I started this at lunch time today. I couldn't find any mold lines, so cleanup was fast. I painted it Dupli-color Bright Toreador Red over silver primer with Testors Wet Look clear top coats. Stripes are automotive silver pin striping. I painted the wheels gloss black.

Hmmmm, while I usually don't build models cars later than the early 70's, that 2017 looks great and may be a good "slump buster" as well. Here's a couple of photos that I shot at the Chicago Auto Show last month.

Man, I didn't know this one was out, yet.....Cool.....Looks pretty good for a snapper.....Great build.....

On a side note, I went to the car show this year, here in Houston, and didn't see this one.....They had the Raptor, but not this.....Oh well....

Very nice build, I really dig the color. I have painted and detailed a few snap kits. They provide a nice break if you are stuck waiting for paint to dry, glue to set, or if you have been working on some kit for weeks and need to finish something.

Very nice work, cant wait to find one for myself, I love a good snap kit seems like sometimes the snappers have a better subject matter than the glue kits.

Thanks everyone. This is a real nice kit, that just needs some added attention to bring it out to a nice replica. I changed the stripes to gold. How does it look now?

That looks like a really nice kit.  Looks like all it needs is a little massaging of the glass and headlight covers to be outstanding.  I like the silver stripe version BTW.
