Brianl Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 So many awesome builds!! Considering I have loved Mustangs since I was a kid I have more in the box than on the shelf but this is my favourite. Brian
IHSS Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Haven't build a mustang in a few years but here's one I made for my dad. He bought a Boss new in 70 and had it 3 months before it was stolen and totaled.
Captain Obvious Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Lovely stuff here, everyone! Here's my matching pair:
Fanof69 Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 While not nearly as nice as some of the great builds in this thread I'll add my only completed Mustang so far.
todd.clark Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 (edited) Wow, fantastic builds from everyone...very impressive guys ! Here's one from me, a '70 Mach 1 with a right hand drive conversion which was quite easy to do, it's based on a friends 1/1 how did you get the woodgrain look like that on the dash if ya dont mind me asking. And I just noticed it was right hand drive thats cool Edited May 16, 2016 by todd.clark
Helix Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Hey Todd, the kit comes with woodgrain decals for the dash, very flimsy I might add too! Put it this way the decal for the instrument cluster was that flimsy it fell apart...so I painted it
landman Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Ratislav, how did you make those wire boots on the distributor? That is incredible for 1:15.
JTalmage Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 As much as I LOVE Mustangs I haven't really built any... not sure why. Most of them are older builds. USAirfix snapfit Mustang that I turned into an 82 GT Turbo Revell 90 LX drag car Revell 99 Cobra built for a friend Revell Mustang II street machine And here's the old stuff
RestoModGuy Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Brother to the Mustang - 1971 Cougar XR7 I built in 1974 when I was 14. My most detailed build I've ever done. Note the Coors beer can on the glove-compartment door. Air lines for the air-shocks too. wow, no one does that anymore.
Sixties Sam Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Here's my 66 coupe with a resin 6-banger engine. In a 60's scene on my diner diorama. Sam
