bobthehobbyguy Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 Coming together nicely. Really looks right. Themed projects can look goofy if they aren't thought out. This really looks great.
Darren B Posted July 15, 2016 Author Posted July 15, 2016 Darren, That is looking really good ! Are you going to build a display base for it ? With figures? Be Well Gatorthank you Gator, had not planned any display base being a model club contest, it would make it look even better but no time to build 1 by the contest date.

Darren B Posted July 16, 2016 Author Posted July 16, 2016 (edited) Almost complete, hand grips, pedals, lincense plate, shifter linkage and brake cables,,,... soon very soon...now looking at a way to add barbed wire to it still.... Edited July 16, 2016 by Darren B
Darren B Posted July 19, 2016 Author Posted July 19, 2016 Well I finished it. My first build in close to two years, finished in under 3 months. This was a totally fun build and not what I usually build. I have a few decorations that I am actually working on for it but the bike itself is complete.... actually made the wires to look like the copper wire on stills that they use for moon shine...
Darren B Posted July 19, 2016 Author Posted July 19, 2016 actually was able to get some barbed wire on the build I made a shiftier linkage with it....
Darren B Posted July 19, 2016 Author Posted July 19, 2016 also I wanted to make the plug wires to look like copper from a moon shine still....
Intmd8r Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Too cool!every time I look at the pics, I see more that I like. Well done!
slusher Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Impressive Chopper Darren. Your hard work shows. Enjoyed watching it come together..
Jantrix Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Excellent work. And great to see one in the "completed" column from you Darren. If I might be so bold though, I don't think the skull headlight works with the rest of the build though. It looks great, but it doesn't fit the theme.
Lunajammer Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Maybe the skull is the ruined man. The head on the gas cap I don't feel as much, but this turned out real well and you gave a lot of thought to it. Wish I could see it in the flesh. You also present some neat ideas for me to steal. Thanks for a well documented WIP.
vintagedragcrazy Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Darren your arm should be sore from patting yourself on the back for such an awsome build!!!!! WOW!!!Vince
