This was a 16yr WIP. The engine/rear sus was done 16yrs ago, the rest was completed on a site that is now gone, so no WIP pics.

Beautiful rendition of my all time favorite F1 car, and my favourite driver as well. Stunning job.

Man, Rider, I am really liking the models you are posting.  I have a particular liking of 1:12 F1 models.  I don't have this one.  Is it OOB or did you add things to it?

This turned out very well.

I think you put the intake trumpet screens on in the wrong order. Some are taller than others, to follow the height of the stacks.

Thanks for the props. It does look like that doesn't it, the stacks are the same height, IIRC it was mostly caused from me not cutting the screens properly way back then.

Thank guys for checking out my builds and the comments.

Sorry fo only posting completed pic, all the WIP pics were lost when the forum was shut down.

This is one of the finest 1/12 scale plastic model kits ever produced.

I've built a couple of these.

You did an excellent job on building it! B)

Keep on building sir...

Thanks Curt, I never knew that about this kit, thanks for sharing that tasty  bit of info.  I have another still boxed in mint condition in the stash.

Thanks Derick, it did have it's issues. Decals needed replacing, no amount of sun bleaching would clear them up, and the body cowl had to be replaced. The original was bowed pretty bad, when I attempted to repair it I messed it up pretty bad.
