I know I mentioned it before but "Play it again Sam"  is probably the most often misquoted line from a movie.  For those who are interested and of a certain age here is the actual scene.  Still one of my favorite moves!

Actually, only one movie (Blazing Saddles) and one TV show (The Monkees "It's A Nice Place To Visit" from 1967). It's a shortened version of the line by Alfonso Bedoya (Gold Hat):

"Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I don't have to show you any stinkin' badges!"

The shortened quote, "Badges? We don't need no stinking badges.", is the one most paraphrased and parodied. The original line from the 1927 book "The Treasure of Sierra Madre":

"Badges, to god-d***ed hell with badges! We have no badges. In fact, we don't need badges. I don't have to show you any stinking badges, you god-d***ed cabron and chinga tu madre!"

I also heard it in some movie or TV show--don't remember which one--where it's delivered by a Latino character who's either a gangbanger or an undercover cop. Pretty sure I've heard it, or some close approximation, several times over the years. In fact, I'd heard it several times before I ever learned it was originally from TotSM.

And a good one to remember in case you're ever confronted by an 8-foot metallic alien robot with an energy weapon eyeball...

It's also effective in stopping squeegee guys and other panhandlers dead in their tracks because they think you're crazier than they are.

You gotta have two things to win. You gotta have brains and you gotta have balls. Now, you have to much of one and not enough of the other.

Money won is twice as sweet as money earned.
