aurfalien Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Hi,I must give serious props to Matt over at Gravity Colors. It's pleasing to deal with a company that cares. And he's in the good old USofA.
Quick GMC Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 I have recently been ordering from him, had great service as well. paints go down super smooth too
crowe-t Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 I recently got paint from Matt and they are the best spraying and smoothest paints I ever used. Matt's customer service is second to none.
Roncla Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 I've had several orders off him and they have all arrived down here in NZ in next to no time. Great service and paint.
landman Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 Interesting that he can ship internationally amd MCW can't.
Mike Chernecki Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 Interesting that he can ship internationally amd MCW can't.It is not that they can't, they just won't.
Roncla Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 It is not that they can't, they just won't. Maybe there are some local laws causing an issue for them or there are other hassles making it not worth it.I can import Zero paints in from Spain without any issues but the manufacturer in England wont ship down here.

In most cases the retailer that won't ship is usually too lazy to do what is required to ship the item.

I notice they offer reasonable overseas shipping. It`s such a bummer not more offer overseas shipping.

It`s such a bummer not more offer overseas shipping. Not too bad, but they are not thinned for airbrush, so you need to find a compatible thinner/reducer. They would not ship the thinner to Canada, but they did ship the paint. I had the thinner shipped to a US address and had a friend pick it up when he was across the border.
peteski Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 Shipping flammable chemicals is difficult even within USA and probably even harder internationally. Often those chemicals cannot be shipped by airplane (which is how most international shipping takes place). There are all sorts of regulations to follow and postal forms to fill out. If I had a small business I would also be very hesitant to ship this type of product internationally.

And he's in the good old USofA.Well, while Matt might be located in the USA, Gravity Colors is not "American", it was founded in Europe in 2013, Matt runs the American satatlite "location", if you try and contact Gravity Colors via their Facebook page, you get to talk to Antonio in Europe Gravity Colors hobby airbrush model paintsWhere are you from? Ahh. I see that from USA. I am Antonio, from the european store. Please, email to info@gravitycolors.com and ask for the offer.Maybe there are some local laws causing an issue for them or there are other hassles making it not worth it.I can import Zero paints in from Spain without any issues but the manufacturer in England wont ship down here.So with my reply above, I wonder if the paints you got came from Gravity's EU location? You dont by any chance know the formula for mixing it so it`s enough/ideal for airbrush? Edited November 26, 2016 by om617

JerseyRed Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 Gravity has 20% off through the 28th. I've used them as well. Good service, good products.
Quick GMC Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 (edited) Just to clarify, his name is Mate (Muh-Tay), not MattI will be placing an order today Edited November 28, 2016 by Quick GMC
martinfan5 Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 Hmm, still waiting on my order place last Friday to ship
Jhedir6 Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 (edited) Hmm, still waiting on my order place last Friday to shipJohnathan, Get a hold of Mate at Gravity Colors and let him know. I just had the same issue with my Polo paints and masks purchase. Bought them at Halloween during their sale. After about almost 2/12 weeks I hadnt received the purchase yet, which is very unusual, 10-12 days max normally to Canada from Florida, I emailed Mate. It turns out that for some reason the tracking number from USPS didnt update with GC's site like it normally does and the package was lost somewhere in USPS system. Mate immediately redid the order and shipped it out the next day. I had it in 8days. So yo should definitely get a hold of him and let him know. He's got fantastic customer service. He said he's had a more than a few packages lost lately. Let him know, I'm pretty sure he's about ready to lose it with USPS,David Edited December 2, 2016 by Jhedir6
WingsWheelsWaves Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 (edited) I did some checking for the person that commented that I was too lazy to ship to Canada. I spoke with the USPS today to find out about shipping my paints to Canada. It would have to go 1st class International. The cost for a 3 pound package, would be about $35.00. I will be happy to ship paint to Canada. I had looked into FED EX shipping for mu paint when I first took over MCW paints and they wanted 100.00 to ship a three pound package to Canada. WingsWheelsWaves Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 No problem, I have been expanding the business. I have added pearl clears in some different colors. I have also been doing some newer colors. For example, I just did Mica Blue for the Subaru WRX.
Mike Chernecki Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 Is the $35 shipping charge just an example at 3lb or a minimum charge? On average, how much would 4 jars weight?
WingsWheelsWaves Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 4 bottles would weigh about 1 pound. Cost to ship would be around $20.00 - $22.00 this could vary depending on postal code.
