29 Roadster

Finally getting back to building after taking four months off. I'm building the highboy version with the deck lid cut out and replaced with the louvered one from the 32 5 window kit. I also redid the coil overs to make them more realistic. Paint is Detriot diesel alpine green.

What did you use for the coil springs, and what did you paint them with? I am doing the same build, and did the same thing with the shocks. I used solder for the coils and wasn't sure if they would hold paint

it's just black craft wire. I bought a pack that had all different colors.

Got back on this one. I'm trying to finish it for a show next weekend. Engine is done. I had to strip the chassis cuz I wasn't happy with it. Hope to have it painted in the next couple of days.

I like you fuel block setup, very similar the what Shelby ran on his Weber feed 289s

Really digging this build. The nailhead looks great, and the coilovers are a big improvement. Looking forward to what other tricks you have up your sleeve.
