Impala_Ant
Here is my MPC 1972 Chevrolet Impala. This car was built as a replica of my Grandmother's car she had bought brand new in 1972. It is painted in the factory color (the name escapes me right now) and a vinyl roof was added. The last few pictures are of how originally got this kit. '70 Grande
Wow, that is an amazing save! Nicely done! How'd you get those chrome-plated headlights to look so good?
Bob Ellis
you did a great job bringing it back.
Impala_Ant
I use a drop of Elmers glue in the headlights and spread it with a straight pin until it's covered the way I want. You have to use very little glue to get the right look. The best part of this technique is if you don't like it, just wipe it off and do it again! Grumpa
Nice save Anthony! I had one of these, red with a 350, back in '77 - '78. Great car until I ran it into a lower parking garage building support. Sure wish I had it now! Oh well....youth is wasted on the young!
