Bronco! Love that box art! I hope that's a trend for them!

Well, this'll be a nice birthday present for myself if it comes out early enough in October. Anyone know what year this is supposed to represent?

Time to start getting some pics saved of this one! ;)

Thanks for posting this Gerry. I've been waiting for someone to get smart and offer us a Bronco model kit for at least 40 years now. And from looking at the photos, they done a great job on the kit.

I'm gonna turn one mindless, long-blathered cliche upside-down and say I wanna see it in my hands before I render a final positive verdict - but that Bronco does look beautiful on the trees.

We need to compare this Chuck to pictures, wait, no...

We need a pic of Chuck in a Bronco, no...

He just tipped the axis off a bit.

Still want my Stroppe and a Big Oly, but will take a stocker too.

Also note the front tires are not going the same direction in the art work.

I think that 56 Chevy with the opening everything from the 60's was a level  5, kind of scary.

I think that might be due to there only being sidewall detail on one side of the tires? Hopefully not!

Heck, back in the day, when I was turnin' wrenches, I put directional tires on a real car the wrong way. I was just slamming the new tires on the rims. Not paying any real attention to the details. Luckily, another Tech noticed the error before I got the car off the hoist. I did have to pull off two rims, and remount the tires though. Lesson Learned.

In 66-75, I don't recall directional tires, certainly not mudders, certainly not OEM on Broncos. First directionals I recall are Goodyear Wingfeet in early 80's. Assymetric treads not uncommon for decades since 50's. Just sayin'

If the tires being aftermarket units on the 1:1 they measured are the biggest offense the new Bronco can come up with,  I'm willing to take that everyday and twice on the weekends after that little era of "Blech" that happened between 2012 & 2015.

Kit looks amazing. I think box art is off. I don't care,  Only been 50 year wait.

I've got full set of Gates Commandos sitting here waiting for it anyway.  :)

I do need a Stroppe version though. Big Oly probably doable if we get some Stroppe flares, or a kindly resin caster.

Happy to start with a nice Ranger.

What's the ""Blech" that happened between 2012 & 2015." I don't understand?

Im guessing its a reference to the innacurate silly errors on the bodies/parts of the 90 Mustang, 70 Cuda and the 67 Camaro.

In which case yeah the tyres I can live with Lol

Hobby Search is saying November release date.

This looks fantastic. Did Revell improve their wheel and tire sizing?? I hope so!!

Keep in mind Hobby Search is in Japan. The kit will be released in the U.S. in September,  it's the only 3Q left.

I agree!

Not too concerned about box art tires and which direction they are mounted. If I was to base my purchase decisions on box art, I would be more concerned about how the top looks in proportion to the body.

The pictures of the kit trees sold me on this one. Starting to save my lunch money now for this one!

Ahhh those tires! Well, I'm not a fan of "mudder" tires, at least on a Bronco. While that won't break the sale of one of those to me, I'd rather have mine look like this.............

Yup! Whitewalls and all! ;)

BTW, has Revell said what year this Bronco kit is supposed to be?? This is a '75 I have pictured.

The pics that Gerry posted at the show of the test shot looks like the proportions are pretty on point. We'll know soon enough as the kit should be out before the end of the year.

The operative word should..........

Well if you believe Revell's propaganda,  it should be out in October.  That's what they're telling retailers.

My point exactly Bill! I saw the kit contents and am fairly certain that the kit is proportioned properly.

Box art is just that, art and subject to the artists interpretation of the item depicted.

I am in for multiples on this one, holding off buying other potential kits because of this one!
