This one I built over the weekend, as I was toying with the idea to build a "day two" Galaxie.

Like if someone ordered a 7 Litre with the R-Code engine (dual quad 427) and did some basic mods to make the car sound and handle better than the other big boys in the neighborhood.

Stripe delete, a set of Cragars, big'n little bias ply all around, lowered front end for that bad boy looks, glasspacks, and a few Stewart Warner gauges.

All reversible mods, so the car is not disrespected and turned into some sort of aberration.

like when I do a car that is not 100% stock, i don't care much about taking time to do correct details, it's not perfect, but sure looks like a bow tie eater.

Paint is not factory correct, as it's Tamiya Italian red, but it dries fast.

Mirrors? With 425hp under the hood, who needs mirrors?

Oh, that's nice! I like that a lot! I've been wanting to build something very similar for a long time, except in dark green. And I might use the teardrop hood on it, too.
