DeeCee Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 That is one BEAUTIFUL Cuda mate, love the paint job, and engine looks great too.
Snake45 Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Not a huge fan of the whole big wheel/pro touring thing but darned if you didn't make it work and work VERY well on this. Well done and model on!
Burnout Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Sharp model! Nice touch with the red stripe on the grill.
Brudda Posted September 5, 2016 Author Posted September 5, 2016 thank you very much for the wonderful comments.
'70 Grande Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Really like this build. Your detailing and paintwork looks awesome! Is that paint color a Dark Blue with a "Purple-ish" cast to it? Love to know the name of that SW paint color!
MrObsessive Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 I keep looking at this one because of the COLOR! Super nice paint job, and I'm curious too what the name of the Sherwin Williams paint is. That looks to be a dead ringer for "In Violet"!
RestoModGuy Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Very nice build, I like all the details and the paint looks great!
MemyselfandI Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Wow beautiful car and beautiful paint job!
Brudda Posted September 6, 2016 Author Posted September 6, 2016 Thank you very much. The paint color is actually plum crazy. For some reason it appears very blue. The sherwin Williams code is C7. It is the factory color for 70-71 mopars. The clear is Hpc 15 urethane. The mixing ratio is 4 :1:1. But I put it at 5:1:1. 5 parts clear 1 part hardner and 1 part reducer. It dries to the touch in 7 minutes and you can color sand it and rub in 30 minutes. My primer is one choice ppg etch primer in a rattle can. Hope that helps. Thanks again
shoopdog Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Your Cuda looks fantastic. Well done all around.
Metal Man Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Ohhh myyyyy - that's the real deal there! Outstanding fit, finish, and stance! That engine compt ain't too shabby either - well done sir!!
