Thanks for the comments. :)

It was fun to do, though it took longer than I thought it would.

I was aiming to have it look like a rig from the early to mid-seventies and I think I hit the mark for the most part.

Pretty happy with it.

That is a really beautiful rig.  Everything about it looks so right, a well-backed dealership sponsored rig maybe or someone with a bit of extra cash laying around would own such a rig.  Great work.

-Yep thats straight from the late 60's early 70's. without a hitch too! GREAT job on the whole execution of the build! -Question tho, what ya use or get the race bed from? (Its not a modified racers wedge, but, its not something I have recall seeing or even hearing about Scratchbuilt maybe?

NICE job tho!

All scratch-built, including the taillight panel, taillights, the headache rack, winch and cabinet handles. I initially was going to open up the cabinet doors - there are full boxes behind them - but couldn't come up with small enough working hinges that looked like they belonged there. I built a hitch for the thing too, but haven't put it in the receiver yet... :)

Very nice!!!! I'm going to be doing something similar some day. with the same truck! Did you make yours that the cab tilts to show the engine, or is this "Curbside" as I know a lot of guys do that with the L-700's because of the way they go together and the fitment of the p[arts.... I have to ask as this is very well done and looks GREAT so....

Yes, the cab tilts to show the Hemi Orange engine, with HP exhaust manifolds... :) I'll get a pick or two tomorrow and post them up.

The paint is Duplicolor Perfect Match... a GM colour if I recall. Cleared both car and hauler with automotive clear, thinned out quite a bit.

What a nice looking build! I congratulate you for getting the cab to sit level. Most of the L700 builds I've seen, the cab tilts forward.
