Well my version of it anyway.

I started out with this simple kit.

I started building it and  painted it a few years ago then put it all back in the box until last week.

I didn't like that paint job very much....probably why it sat in the box for so long. I stripped the body and repainted it a few days ago and I liked that a lot better.

The new paint gave me the motivation to finish it up. Not super detailed or anything, just a basic shelf build with a few modifications and parts added.

Thanks for checking it out. As always comments and discussion welcome.

I have had that kit for years and never opened it up due to almost everyone saying it was pretty much a waste of plastic. After checking your good looking job out I'm thinking I should open it up and plan on a build. You did a great job.:wub:Richard

I like the looks of that.  I am from the GM factory town of Anderson, IN and the takes me back to the 70s when I would sometimes go to our high-banked 1/4 mile oval Sun Valley Speedway and watch the cars run.

These things aren't my cup of tea at all, and I only clicked on this thread just to see what someone had done with the old Falcon. WOW! What a clean looking model! One of the nicer things I've seen on here in the last month or so. Well done and model on! B)

Excellent work, Ron. Sure looks a whole lot better with correct wheels and tires, and properly lowered!

Excellent work on the wheels and tires; the originals never looked quite right. The black wash really makes the details pop.

If you cut out the inner fender panels, did you save them? I could use the shock towers for the Moebius Comet... ;)
