cobraman Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 Finished this morning. Painted bright red with Krylon Short Cuts and their clear. Interior is red also. Built stock. Some BMF. Simple old time kit with the molded in chassis so not much detail there. Turned out OK I think.

cobraman Posted December 21, 2016 Author Posted December 21, 2016 That is a very striking color Ray. Looks great! I've tried Krylon without much luck. How do you prep and what primer do you use? Thanks everyone. Donald to answer your question I first remove mold lines if any then wash and wet sand the body. I use Duplicolor filler primer ( gray ) and wet sand. Then paint. For some reason I do have problems with the large cans of Krylon and never use them. The small Short Cut cans however I have had pretty good luck with.
bbowser Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 Can't go wrong with a tin Indian, no one will miss that on the street! Well done.
