cobraman
Finished this morning. Painted bright red with Krylon Short Cuts and their clear. Interior is red also. Built stock. Some BMF. Simple old time kit with the molded in chassis so not much detail there. Turned out OK I think.

cobraman
That is a very striking color Ray. Looks great! I've tried Krylon without much luck. How do you prep and what primer do you use? Thanks everyone. Donald to answer your question I first remove mold lines if any then wash and wet sand the body. I use Duplicolor filler primer ( gray ) and wet sand. Then paint. For some reason I do have problems with the large cans of Krylon and never use them. The small Short Cut cans however I have had pretty good luck with.
