-TORQUE-TWISTER POS-A-TRACTION : front and rear tires for both 1:24 and 1:25 street-machines

Yes!

And now I just remembered that I forgot to add this item to my list I posted previously:

-Formula 1 Super Stock tires in either 1:24 or 1:25. I'd need several sets of them!

EDIT: I just found out that Fireball Model Works has all of these! Yeehaw, I guess I'll gotta place an order soon! http://www.fireballmodels.info/

Chief Joseph does offer amazing Mickey Thompsons. But only one size (rears) is available. Fronts will get the fantastic 70's look :

Any details on this?

I'd be interested in several...

Measuring up my real 340 to have 3d printed. Just time,.... and more time.... lol

Doesn't AMT have a good Mopar LA engine allready, the one in the 71 Duster is pretty nice.

Hakan,

This was started because I require one in a larger scale. To my eye the AMT one is on the small side. I'd have to break out the AMT Duster kit to check/measure but I've been around my 340's since the 80's so I'm pretty familiar with them. Part of it for me was the lacking detail. They're close and certainly "good enough" for most modelers, but I'm not most modelers lol.

By drawing it up 1:1 scale I can scale it down to any size I want as long as it's printable and it will actual scale. It's a lot of work but if I am going to do it I might as well do it right. Probably the closest accurate 340 was the Gibson resin engine. However with the multi piece block it was a pain to put together. (I bought one a long time ago but nla)

Okay I understand.
It's not wrong to do one, so we get more to choose from.:)

Paul, what scale are you doing this in? If it's 1/16, I would be very interested in one myself.

I was going a bit larger for myself but 1/16 is an option also as there was altered that was a Bakersfield back in the 90's I'd like to recreate that used a Hilborn injected 340 and would like in 1/16.

Some Aussie Muscle Cars, with 3D printing where it's at now we should be able to have something better that the resin & fibreglass shells of the past

I'm definitely in for all of the above.

Actually, anything that would add fun to the existing F-Babies kits :

1977 Z28 transkit : for Monogram 1979 Z28

1975-77 Base Camaro transkit : for Monogram 1979 Z28 (you could build a Bumble Bee, at last)

1980-81 transkit : for Monogram 1979 Z28

Yenko-Z transkit : for Monogram 1979 Z28

1979 W72 transkit : for Monogram 1978 T/A (straight remold of 1980 TTA parts, since the kit was never reissued. With shaker hood and 400ci motor)

1971 High Back buckets : for Monogram 1970 T/A

15-inch + Trim rings Pontiac Rally II wheels

1/16 Firebird-Esprit-Formula transkit : for Amt 1/16 1979 T/A

1/24-1/25 Honeycomb wheels : both 14 and 15-inch (since Modelhaus is sadly no more in business)

Redbird-Skybird-Yellowbird transkit : for Revell and Monogram 1977-78 T/As

1971-1981 Esprit-Formula stripe decals.

Wouldn't you build one of these beauties ?

I'd like some early 2nd gen GM F-body stuff. Like a 1970 - '72 Camaro SS without the RS front end. And a 1970 - '71 Firebird Formula (anything other than a Trans Am).

Others? A 1971 Dodge Demon 340. And one another person here proposed, a 1972 Montego GT.

I would love to see a corrected grille for the AMT 41 Plymouth, the kit grille is crooked, left side does not match the right side, and the panel they fit into is the same way. I have tried to correct this myself, but not quite 'there' yet...'Z'

I have one more...
Correct looking 67-68 Shelby 10-spoke wheels...everything there has been available so far has been wrong.

What aftermarket parts would you buy if offered in 2017?

I'm still pining for 18" wheel/tire combos for 1/24-25 scale '60's and '70's American cars. Something not too big or wide, but larger with modern tread.

I'm interested to hear what is on your wish list.

(I'm just a builder. Not fishing for products to market :))

Keep pining cause it doesnt look like anyone is interested, I sold off my line to another builder and made a new one and not one new caster coming in wants nothing to do with them unless theyre 22" or bigger

Who's C-body? GM's or Chrysler's? And what generation?

Scott

As a police car builder, I'd be happy to see any Chrysler C-body sedans from 1965 to 1977.
