Lovefordgalaxie Posted January 4, 2017 Author Posted January 4, 2017 Absolutely superb, can't wait to start mine .... After the woody of course !Finished the convertible? I'm dying to see her completed. LOVED the pictures of the work in progress.
GeeBee Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 the convertible? I'm dying to see her completed. LOVED the pictures of the work in progress. not quite, but not far off, probably 98% finished, it should be in the "Under Glass" section very soon
W-409 Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 That turned out extremely nice, but your builds always do! Always when I see a black car that has a flawless paint like this it makes my jaw drop to the floor, as I've found out it's VERY tricky to get right. Fantastic work in every way, it looks like a 1:1 scale car to me.Interesting to see how that Chopped '48 will turn out. I know you're a factory stock builder, but I've always liked old Custom Cars and this is one of those bodies that look very good when chopped correctly.
Dave Van Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 My favorite....a neat and super clean build!!!!Don't hurt I own a 1.1 46 DeLuxe!
GeeBee Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Finished the convertible? I'm dying to see her completed. LOVED the pictures of the work in progress. Just posted some more photo's on the build, 99% finished nowhttp://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/117122-monogram-48-ford-convertible/?page=2
STYRENE-SURFER Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 This is such a fantastic build. And like others have already said that black paint is beautiful.
mangodart Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Gorgeous, I was wondering if I buy this kit or not as I still have the convertible and Woody to build, you make me think about it !!! Very good work !!!
Eric Macleod Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 I am very impressed with the quality of your work but also stunned by just how fast you seem to be able to turn these models out. Amazing.
doggie427 Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Fantastically realistic paint! Your parking lot base is just as realistic.
David G. Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Looks great Tulio. Perfect paintwork, as always.David G.
Eric Macleod Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 I am still not sure if I'm looking at a model or the real thing. Fabulous model. Gotta love the Fords!
Lovefordgalaxie Posted January 28, 2017 Author Posted January 28, 2017 I am still not sure if I'm looking at a model or the real thing. Fabulous model. Gotta love the Fords! Thanks!! I sure do love the Fords
geetee66 Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 Another 1st class example, of how to build a superb model. You've got the black paint down to a fine art. I think everyone here would be chuffed with results half as good, as this!I hope to achieve such greatness, one day!
