David G.
My first build of 2017. The biggest hurdle with this kit was blending in the front panel insert. I think it came out pretty good. License Plates and Mirrors! I'm very pleased with the paint and foil work on this one. The ride height may be a little high, but it's not too bad. The original third brake light! This was a fun kit to build and it makes a good looking model when it's finished. As always, thanks for taking the time to look and please feel free to comment. charlie8575
The end result is nice. The way they set up the wheels was not one of AMT's better ideas. Nice job painting them.Charlie Larkin
Lovefordgalaxie
Very very nice!!!Refreshing to see more factory stock builds.Have this one on the stash, and I know that making it look so good was not a easy job. Not one of AMT's best efforts.

David G.
Looks great, good color choiceThanks Dan. That's a great looking '41! Nice job!Thank You Wayne Terrific! We don't see nearly enough of these built stock. SteveI agree Steve. Hot rods are nice, but I like stock every bit as much and maybe just a little more. The end result is nice. The way they set up the wheels was not one of AMT's better ideas. Nice job painting them.Charlie LarkinThanks Charlie, it was a bit tricky but I'm pretty happy with the way they came out. Very very nice!!!Refreshing to see more factory stock builds.Have this one on the stash, and I know that making it look so good was not a easy job. Not one of AMT's best efforts. Thanks Tulio, it's nice to have those efforts recognized. Very well done! Thanks Bo. I wanted to build a streamliner and I was deciding between this one and Revell's 1948 Ford Police Coupe and I wanted an relatively easy "knock together" kit. I was a little surprised by the way AMT chose to engineer the front panel assembly. Had I known, I probably would have chosen the Ford. I believe I'll pick up one eventually, but I would have grabbed it first that day. Thanks again!David G.

espo
Very nice build. You did get that front end looking perfect. I haven't built this model but the others I have seen here this seems to be the biggest problem with the body on this.

bbowser
Great job on a less than stellar kit. I don't think there were many of these "old maid" Plymouths in 'look at me' red, but it really looks good.
Foxer
This came out beautiful! Red really sets it off.

Thanks Donald Great job on a less than stellar kit. I don't think there were many of these "old maid" Plymouths in 'look at me' red, but it really looks good. Thanks Bruce. When researching this build, I did find a number of them on line that looked to have been originally painted in a dark red. The shade of red I picked for this one did not turn out as dark as I had planned. This came out beautiful! Red really sets it off. I think it does too, thanks Mike. This is likely the nicest build of this kit I've ever seen... Great photos too, most make the model look real! Thank you Matija. David G. David G.
Great looking model and excellent photos. Thanks Peter. BTW, if the New Zealander is looking for Old Zealand, he's nearly there; it's farther north near Denmark. David G.
