clayton Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 (edited) Think it's a 016 build. Off and on at least 4 Years. Started with a frame, cab and few other parts. Extended the frame behind the steer and sleeper. Motor from the snap kit, GW resin hood. sleeper from parts ,extra toolbox from a caster from Canada(Forgot who).fuel tanks from pvc and hand made the band's.rubber flaps made from fabric. Running lights from P and P resin 125 in all.bumper and fender rock guards hand made.corner lights from a wire with a brass ring for a nut with Amber paint on end roe lights. Duplyi color candy red and silver.and silver state baggage now wrapped in foil painted with lite sanding to bring out the chrome. Map,logbook I printed out and uses bits from the 359 kit had to be reworked for fit. Sleeper cabinet nd made. Edited January 16, 2017 by clayton
redneckrigger Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 Wow........................very nice build! Looks like a miniaturized original!
kilrathy10 Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 That is a sweet looking build.....Not sure why we have to go through so much trouble to build one of these.....It would be so awesome to have a kit of this thing.....You've done an awesome job......Just awesome.....
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 Very nice! I like the 379 long hood conversion. Nice work!

signguy2108 Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Spot-on rig, nice tribute to ur dad, mine was a lifelong electrican, guess I would have had to build him a breaker box!
Fat Brian Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 We're can I get the Great Dane trailer?Moebius has two versions of their 53' trailer, a smooth side and one with slightly corrugated sides. It's 1/25 scale but the difference is pretty small on such a huge piece.
purepmd Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Spot-on rig, nice tribute to ur dadExcellent conversion. Very cool gesture.
