Looks like the "long lost" Kenworth molds have been found.  Wonder if it will be the W925 (torsion bar suspension) or the W923 (spring suspension).

As I understood it AMT altered the cab and hood tooling when they did the T600 back in the 90's so maybe Round2 has re-tooled the cab and hood...that would be great.
I have plans for more W900's in the future.

Oh man, almost fainted when I read that. I've never been so excited for a re release. Going to run up the cc when that comes out...

The AMT W925 Movin' On truck is a conventional truck, the Kenworth COE from AMT are the K123 and K100 Aerodyne, the K123 was out a couple of years ago and the K100 Aerodyne is out right now as the Tyrone Malone Papa Truck.

Can't imagine it being the Torsion Bar version, they were only ever available on the first W Model, plus the cab over and the Challenger cement mixer. The torsion bar suspension was such a nightmare to construct that AMT pretty smartly dumped the idea and replaced it with the Hendrickson suspension.

One can wonder why AMT went to the Walking Beam when they dropped the Torsion Bar.
Kenworth had other suspensions to choose from other than the Torsion Bar and Walking Beam, they also had the 4-bag Dual Air Spring and the Big Six Six-Rod Leaf Spring for the dual drive, they also had the Page & Page and Monkey Motion suspension for the single drive with push or pull axle.

I'd figure its just due to ease of casting. Walking beams are pretty simple and the molds would be cheap to make as well.

The reason I wonder is that the first truck kit AMT did wich was the Peterbilt 359 "Small Window", and the 352 and the later 359 1100 cab all had a more complicated air ride suspensions, and the other truck kits from the same time period had other types of leaf spring suspensions...so I don't know if simplicity was a factor.
The Torsion Bar can be done a bit less complicated and easier to build too if you change the layout and parts a bit.

Now if they would only put the right sleeper on this kit !   The original AMT kit had the short "coffin" sleeper which was not what the "Movin' On" Kenworth had in the TV series.

However it was the sleeper they used in "In Tandem"
