After having a problem with the Flintstone Sedan Delivery body, I put this back on the shelf.  I pulled it back off in December to try and do something with it.  Since I had already modified the interior for a sedan delivery, I decided to make this a custom shop wagon such as would be at a car show.  A benefit is it made the interior mods more visible.

Since I still had the original body, I did a mild customization to it and painted it Testor’s Electric Pink Lacquer covered with Wet Look Clear.

For the interior, I used parts bin seats and detailed with: seat belts; used model railroad nails for door locks; and added some gear to the cargo area.

Engine was fully detailed out with wiring and plumbing.  I used the now out of business Detail Junkee’s air cleaner and valve cover PE set to dress up the engine and added some additional PE and a non-working dipstick.

Chassis detail included fuel lines, brake lines and an emergency brake.

I used the Molotow Liquid Chrome markers to touch up BMF and chrome tree parts.

Still need to add the exhaust tips and that is that for this one.

that looks fantastic! i gotta think that color looks dynamite in person, the larger pic's don't really pick up on the metallic as well as the close ups do. very sharp looking buildB)

Fantastic detailing. I really like the electric pink on it, I have one build in that color and I know the pics don't do it justice.

Great job on your build.

Looks great!  Gerry where at the wheel covers from?

These are Model Car Garage that I have had in the aftermarket stash for quite some years.  They worked well with the American Satco wide whitewalls I used on the kit as the tires are wider.  The only glaring problem (to me) is that there is no opening for a valve stem and they are full wheel covers.  So I drilled each and ran a wire through to simulate a valve stem.  Also polished them using Wenol metal polish.
