1928 Model A Roadster

I've been gathering the parts for this for several years, having been inspired by Roy Brizio's green roadster.  Body, chopped windshield and seat are from the Revell Rat Rod.  The door hinges were removed and gaps filled. Half-round rod was added to the upper body and plastic sheet was used to create the interior panels.  Detail Master provided the door handles, instrument panel and gauges.  The chassis is from the Revell '30 Model A with modified engine mounts, front and rear crossmembers to accept the Tamiya Jaguar engine, lowered '32 Ford front axle and '26 Buttera T rear end.  The latter was rebuilt with aluminium tube to widen it slightly.  Wheels and tyres are a mix of Pegasus and parts box items.  The Weber carbs came from Scale Production in Germany and are cast metal with separate intake trumpets. Exhaust pipes are aluminium tube, and the moon tank consists of Stacey David Rat Roaster ends with a tank fabricated by a talented friend Joel from aluminium rod.  Paint is my usual Tamiya spraycan, US Navy Blue and German Grey, left in a satin finish.
