Just saw on Instagram that board member Blair Pletcher has passed away. I didn't know him but was an admirer of his beautiful weathering jobs. May he rest is piece.

Bob, he was "bpletcher55" here on the board. He went to the CPMCC (York, PA) and was one of the best when it came to weathering.

If you check this thread here, you'll see the last model he posted here as far as I can see.

He was really great on anything built. Sad he is gone. I wonder what happened to him?

Wow, I was just thinking recently that I hadn't seen him post any builds in quite a while.

Never met him in person either, just really admired his work - seemed like his rod builds were always very well thought out and executed.

His family has my sympathies.

Rip Blair ! , i just found out on facebook , and saw the memorial stand on the show (pictures of that) , i got chils , great builder and a awsome friendly guy i talked to online for  few years ...

Just found out today....how sad. I loved looking at his work. Put a smile on my face. RIP Blair.
