modelercarl Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Just finished this one up. Box stock except for the fender flares which I think give it a whole different look, it was one of the most enjoyable builds I have ever experienced......hardly any flash, and it fit together very nicely. Only touchy assembly is getting the side windows in the doors aligned with everything else.
Davewilly Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Nice! I am building this one right now. and I do like how it all fits together and the detailing on the parts is pretty nice.

modelercarl Posted April 28, 2017 Author Posted April 28, 2017 Very nice build ....Thanks Geoff, I appreciate the comment.
GLMFAA1 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Hint on getting the roof and front windshield and side glass to fit together, Put them together and glue them before mounting the parts on the body. Nice job on this kitgreg
bogger44 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Oh that's nice. Glad to hear it goes together pretty well. Two thumbs up on those fender flares, you can bet I'll be putting those on mine, too. I still have to purchase the Bronco and the flares yet though Lol.
shoopdog Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 This has to be one of the best looking Broncos I have seen yet. Very well done.I can't wait to start on mine but I would like to know where you got the flares.
Jordan White Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Fireball Modelworks is selling the flares, I purchased a set and they are nicely cast.

Nacho Z Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 This is just a great looking model. It looks good from all angles. Nice job!
espo Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Very nice clean build. As others have mentioned I think the Flares are a must do.
Ron Hamilton Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 (edited) That one you did is very nice. I have two I want to do. One as it was brought home new in the early '70's as a Bronco Ranger, and the same vehicle lifted with flares, aluminum slot mags, On/off road tires, engine mods, and a re-paint. Something like this one, with whitewall mud/snow tires. The tricked out one will be I the same color family, without the stripes, but I may do the flares in white along with the roof. Davewilly Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 Thanks Dave. What color are you doing yours in? I'm thinking of building another but can't decide on a color. Being I am building this one as a test to how it all went together before I build a replica of friends I am doing white seats and door panels with a black floor and a Panther Pink body. I painted it this weekend but had to throw it in the purple pond I had some bad fish eye action when I clear coated it. ( here is a shot of it before the clear went on)
