Gt fan Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 I just finished this , been a labor of love. It is the Panoz cup of noodles sponsored car that ran at Lemans. The kit is from Lemans Minatures. The decals are the hardest part of the kit. Each dragon is three separate decals. The hardest is the one that goes behind the drivers head. It has to lay over a bunch of different curves. The carbon fiber decals are from the kit and from Scale Motorsports. Tamiya paints were used .
D. Battista Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 I hear ya ... on the labor of love.. It was well worth it ..! That is one cool lookin' racer !!Great job ....!
Nacho Z Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 I knew what this was as soon as I read the title of the post, hahaha. Pretty cool livery. As with all of your models, this one is top notch. Nice work!
Silver Foxx Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 This is great looking build , super decal work , I like this a lot .
Ace-Garageguy Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Fine looking model. I always liked Panoz for going with the "front-mid-engined" concept, in spite of the fact that everyone "knew" rear-mid-engined was the only modern way to build a race car.
Gt fan Posted May 2, 2017 Author Posted May 2, 2017 Thanks for the kind words everyone . Nacho Z where's that challenge car? My next build is going to have no decals or carbon!.
