Only the rear engine was a true hemi, The front engine is an abortion of an olds/caddy thing with Hemi heads and intake. With out digging my roarin rambulance up I want to say the front engine is a straight up Toronado Engine with the Hemi top half.

Dave what about the stock kit?

There is a small amount of JoHan tooling out there. When my late brother in law was helping run Accurate Miniatures they went and looked at the tooling. What was left was not worth saving and restoring. I can't say what they saw....I don't know all of it.....but I asked about a few favorites.......HH was not among them...or the stock version.

The stock hearse was in pretty rough shape when it was last available.  A guy I know bought one, the body had some weird flashing on it, that stuck out of the quarter panels like tailfins.

Anyone else have the dual engine ambulance version?  That one was only around for a couple of years...

Have a nice unbuilt Roarin Rambulance that I bought about 20 years ago at one of the Kit Collectors shows in Buena Park, California. Back in the early Eighties, picked out a Haulin Hearse in the taller/narrower box new at the local hobby shop. From what I remember, made a pretty good mess of that one with a runny Pactra Lemon Yellow spray job.
