ZHOT1 Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 (edited) AMT Silhouette that appears to be complete ,not built but some parts separated from trees . Box damage, decals unusable, some chrome degradation, but everything else seems to be in good shape. Just wondering what it is worth in this condition, is it rare? I will post pics, let me know your thoughts. Edited August 14, 2017 by ZHOT1
bobthehobbyguy Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Not really a rare kit it been reissued a number of times. My guess is ten dollars given the condition of box, decals and chrome.
Mr mopar Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 the only rare thing about your kit is the box ( only if in mint condition ) other then that the kit is not rare at all.

Crusader101 Posted August 22, 2017 Posted August 22, 2017 Cool to see this....I'm restoring a '68 Hot Wheels version.....maybe I'll pick up the kit to go along with it.
Casey Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 (edited) I've always liked this odd Silhouette box art, with the Zerex anti-freeze product tie in: Edited September 7, 2018 by Casey
samdiego Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 (edited) They showed Wonderful World of Wheels to us on movie day when I was in 4th grade. I got in trouble for yelling "Hey, It's the Silhouette!" I think Lloyd bridges was the host. Edited September 5, 2018 by samdiego
Chuck Most Posted September 6, 2018 Posted September 6, 2018 I have that box somewhere- a little beat up and somebody smeared silver paint on one corner. The kit itself was partially built up and has since been dispersed all over the place but the box is still around.
