The Farm Tractor seems interesting for some reason. I might try something different with that. Does anyone remember if there was a bucket seat issue with the GTO ? Don't want to start anything, just remember one of the GTO kits had nonmatching seats or something. I like the Impala SS also.

That was the MPC '67 GTO that had issues...had the '70 GTO seats in the previous couple reissues.

Thank you, this information is what I needed, I'll be getting the GTO also.

That "Farm Tractor Series" thingy makes me wonder whether more tractors are planned.
Tractor restoration and collecting appears to be quite popular in Germany, so it does make sense in a way.
I guess we'll see at Nuremberg.

My hope would be that they could include all of the custom parts also

Looking at the quarterly flyer again, it says "Build as movie version or factory stock", so no custom parts in this one. You'd need the Goodguys to get the custom parts included in the original PM kit, or the chopped custom kit for the other/different custom parts.

I got a very brief look at the new front end of the Revell Boss 302 (test shot) a few weeks ago and it looked to me a major improvement.  Want to study it in detail (when the final kit comes out) to make a definitive judgment, but was encouraged by what I saw......TIM

I always thought the Rommel's Rod was a little weird. Maybe a LOT weird. I can't be alone with this, am I? I totally agree with the earlier posts re a '72 Montego GT, wagon or whatever.  My parents first and only new car was a green '73 Montego sedan. Dad got it as a company car when he worked for the Boy Scouts of America. It was a base model but I loved it. Then I saw a '72 and liked the look of the front bumper more than the '73. We can dream, right?

You are not alone, my friend. For a certain period of our history, about half everything Monogram made was at least a little weird. And a good percentage of AMT and MPC's production, too. Ick!

Or was it 1972 seats?

It may be weird, but I love Rommel's Rod. Finally got a chance to build one a few years back. If I could find it again in the "Underglass" area I'd post a link. It turned out great. I had a lot of fun with that one.

Anybody else get their preorders in...

This model still mystifies me - in a good way. I know only 3% of US buyers will care about it...but I’m exited.

Totally. I adore these kinds of kits that just have these weird choices that anywhere else would've been ****canned so quick that it wouldnt have made it past the "fleeting mention" stage, not to mention Asian kits tend to have a build quality so good no matter the subject.

I think you left out the decimal point and some zeros. :D I'm holding out for a LHD Chevy Spectrum. :P

Suppose its time to whip up a decal sheet to attempt making a '88 Spectrum out of it.

I was in the car business for most of my adult life. When the Spectrum came out they were almost impossible to sell. The sales staff called them by another name referring to a part of the male anatomy that rimes with Spectrum.

Interesting subject, looks like a truly awful little car and with that styling package from Irmscher to try and make it hot is like seeing grandma in bikini contest. It kind of reminds me of a late-80s Nissan Sunny that we used to drive around in. Bad for my back to sit in and drive, it was so noisy one would want to wear headphones while driving but the thing never failed. It just went on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on..............
