PatW Posted November 22, 2017 Author Posted November 22, 2017 Cheers Dave, all of the engine detail is under a clip on cover that's difficult to get off without damaging the decals!
PatW Posted November 23, 2017 Author Posted November 23, 2017 Thanks droogie, here's the kit...............................
Peter Lombardo Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 Pat, nice build... I did a different version of this car, it was a fairly challenging build with all of the "crazy" front winglets and "ladder" fins around the rear wheels and you got everything straight and proper..... the one I did is white, but the black livery looks so much more menacing and aggressive and you have a nice clean shiny finish on it.. Very well done. I really like the DTM race cars and series. Better, in my mind then F1 and Nascar.
PatW Posted November 24, 2017 Author Posted November 24, 2017 Thanks Peter for your info. Yes the body comes in white but rattle can spray painted in Satin Black. Being in the UK, the DTM came here at least once a year for nearly 10 years, and raced mainly at our Donington race circuit in the midlands. My wife and I able to see them racing each time they came here.
bbowser Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 Nicely done on what looks to be a fiddly kit.
shoopdog Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 Extremely nice build and it definitely looks like it could be a tough one.
Dann Tier Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 An amazingly clean build.......looks PERFECT!!!!!
PatW Posted November 26, 2017 Author Posted November 26, 2017 Thanks guys, yes there are a few (but very few) fiddly bits, but great fit and excellent decals.
vwdave92 Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 nice work. I'm hoping to build a few of the DTM kits. It was great to Revell kit those cars
Gt fan Posted December 1, 2017 Posted December 1, 2017 Great looking build...well done!! I wish revell did more of these cars.
PatW Posted December 1, 2017 Author Posted December 1, 2017 Thanks Tim and yes why don't they keep up to date, but yes they have with the BMW version which is really cool!
