retriever Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 I recently finished this (first attempt) at a rusty, crusty barn find. I kept the body fairly rust free and concentrated the rust on the underside and chassis. No display case but hopefully I'll build a dilapidated barn dio for it and other possible similar models. Hope you like it.... Tony 1
Watertown Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 Awesome build. Put this in a diorama and take some pic's. No one would be able to distinguish this from the real thing. Well done!
unclescott58 Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Very cool. It looks right on. I like it.
Modelbuilder Mark Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 pretty darn cool, especially for your first weathered job.
TarheelRick Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 If you will tell me where this particular barn is, I will come by and drag that piece of worn out metal away for you. Some excellent weathering, and a beautiful overall build.

retriever Posted December 5, 2017 Author Posted December 5, 2017 Thank you all for the kind words. I'll have to get that darn barn finished ASAP. Tony
espo Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Great looking build. Even in a Barn the surface rust starts on the chassis and suspension since those parts had little or no paint to protect them. Ya this deserves it's own Diorama for sure.
misterNNL Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 An absolutely beatuifully bult model.I admire your attention to the details and not overdoing the weathering effects. Thanks for sharing.
