vamach1 Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 Quite a project you have taken on. Looks great. Saw this one at a recent show.
mrmike Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 I just saw the "Berlin Buick" on Velocity's Bitchin' Rides. Dave Kindig had talked with the owner at Hot August Nights in Reno, Nevada who described the car in some detail to Dave and Kevin. Keep up the good work, John!
GerN Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Fantastic project choice! As usual . . . BTW, does the radiator go behind the engine and the car run with an open rear lid?

Tom Geiger Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 I watched an episode of Bitchin Rides I had saved, last evening. It's the episode where they took the '57 Ford and '55 Nomad to a show in Reno. There was the Berlin Buick! I had never heard of it before your thread, but there it was! Dave talked with the owner and there was some video of the car.
GerN Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 Yup, I should have figured that out myself from the photos. This almost motivates me to do a mid-engine Mazda rotary-powered VW bug.
Codi Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 I'm in awe John. ALL of it. More please! cheers, tim
John Teresi Posted December 15, 2017 Author Posted December 15, 2017 (edited) Hello.....Tom,Gerald,Tim........thanks guys.......I really appreciate you looking in........I made a new dash board and door panels........I made the radiator set up .......and hinged the doors........still in the mock -up stages.......I will fine tune everything latter.......I will work on the engine cradle next......thanks for looking. Davewilly Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 Hey John Very cool! I always love a nice souped up VW!
Art Laski Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 I don’t know how you go so fast! Crazy...
Scott Colmer Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 Great subject matter, John. Excellent work as always.
HotRodaSaurus Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 OOOOOOHHH I do like it when a rare bug gets a V8, Should have been a genuine split, even better
John Pol Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Wow what detail you must have a lot of photos to go by to do all the builds that you do
