Mahogany Rush Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 XLNT job, especially on the vinyl top.
Dodge Driver Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 Another home run from your work bench! You have posted a fleet of exceptional models recently.
disabled modeler Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 We once owned a 69 and a 70...thinking the 69 was a 455ci..4 speed car..real beast too. Id love to build replicas of them someday and others we once owned.

Thanks. All of these I finished in 2017. I have a bunch that I did in 2016 that I don’t think I have shared. My finished collection is just over 200 models.

I've never seen them on a '69 either. Either the hubcaps or the rally wheels are all I've ever seen. Mine came with the rally wheels. Steve

They did come in the kit thou.

Steve Steve buddy...thanks for the information...it was a SJ model must have been the 428ci one then. It ran so hard it was unbelievable...loved that thing. I have a 69 and a 70 model but they both need a lot of parts yet before i can do anything with them.
Geno Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 My favorite year GP, you did it justice. It looks tough.

Those are 65-68 Pontiac Rally I wheels. The 69 GP did not have that wheel as a Factory option. The original MPC kit had the deep dish wheel cover as the stock version wheel, and the Rally I wheel for the custom version. I have my original 69 to restore, and I am going to use a set of Rally II wheels on mine. Those wheels look great on that build.
montelsc Posted February 17, 2018 Posted February 17, 2018 (edited) Heres mine from 6 months ago front and rear seats were shot and 1 broken windshield post but I managed to get the original box and instructions Edited February 17, 2018 by montelsc

Hmann68 Posted February 17, 2018 Posted February 17, 2018 Another fine model from you! Clean and neat as usual. These were cool cars, my mother bought a new 70 SJ and that car made my dad a Pontiac man afterwards.
carrucha Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 Nice Grand Prix. I have a soft spot for Grand Prix's since my parents drove a 1974 Grand Prix when I was a kid.
