I made myself a bit of New York strip on my little indoor George Foreman grill....... They really do a good job with cooking meats. Had a nice salad, too.......

I haven't posted on this thread for some time, so I'll try catching up a little.

Smoked pulled pork

Since we are guys and like power tools, my boss has one of the meat shredding attachments that goes in a drill. I was part of a small team that made lunch for about 70 colleagues a few years ago, and I used it. Major timesaver!

Some fine culinary skills in this thread! I feel inadequate with my French toast & sausage supper! Seems I eat breakfast for supper more than I do for breakfast!

Steven, you are quite the chef! Some of those meals look real good to me and some I wouldn't touch but I'm pretty limited with my food preferences.

Anything with broccoli in it and no anchovies. I haven't been able to smell or eat broccoli my entire life but my wife really likes it. Practically have to leave the house when she cooks it.

Do you have any taught cooking skills or are you just naturally good at it?

I can understand both of those.

Not many people are in to anchovies, and broccoli is a pretty common dislike.

I'm not a huge broccoli fan either, but I can eat it and my wife likes it, so I throw it in every once in a while.

Anchovies, on the other hand, I love!

Usually use them more as a seasoning for sauces or salad dressings, but I'm not above an anchovy pizza. :)

No, I don't have any culinary training, but I grew up in a German household where my mother did a lot of cooking, and I enjoyed watching.

Picked up a lot of the basics from her, as well as some from watching food channels and shows on television.

You have to enjoy cooking, and I do.

That's the first step to learning how to cook.

I'm no Eric Ripert, but I can manage to pull off a decent meal on occasion. :D

I'm a shrimp freak!

And a bit of a Cajun or Creole aficionado.

A few of my absolute favorite New Orleans style shrimp dishes.
