Looks delicious!

I had a teriyaki BBQ glazed meat loaf and some stewed potatoes and carrots tonight.

Sorry, no pics.

Here are a few pics from a couple of our favorite Cancun Mexico restaurants last week.

My wife had "El-Conquistador Shrimp" and I had a creamy "Seafood Pasta".

Both were wonderful.

One of my favorite meals of the week was at a restaurant called "La Palapa Belga".

An entire pot of Belgian style mussels! :P

The overall theme here is, I LOVE MUSSELS! :D

Steve wanted pictures... so here's a picture...

MVC-001S

Devil Eggs. I started making these when I was 18 and worked in a deli.  The faces came about when my kids were young.  I'd hide one or two faces in the tray. And it evolved to a full tray of faces to keep kids from fighting over the one with a face.

Today?  I cannot go to my sister's house for Easter without two trays of these.  They've become a tradition.  All those kids are in their 30s but they still want their face eggs!

Makes me feel good. My granddaughter won't eat anyone elses deviled eggs but mine. Have you made them with avocado in them?

I grew up on mussles and love them. Unfortunately I get deathly sick on them now, don't know why but, tried them three times just to make sure and each time got sick.

The sides were just what we had at the moment but, agree, I would have went with a green veggie and maybe a mushroom gravy. It was my wifes first time eating Pheasant.

I haven't had pheasant in many years, but my family used to eat it all of the time, and LOVE it, when I was growing up.

Being originally from South Dakota, pheasants were like squirrels every where else. :)

My mother used to cook them very slowly in a frying pan with lard!

Almost like a German version of a pheasant "confit".

One of the most delicious things I've ever tasted to this day!

Sounds like you've developed an allergy to shellfish.  I guess it can happen as you age.

Sunday was Portillo's Italian beef sandwiches.  Tonight I'm making lemon pepper chicken, roasted potatoes and a salad, with some Jim Beam & RC Cola on the side.

Monday was a busy day making a pot roast in the Instant Pot and grilling 18 burgers.  Then we divide into meals and do the vacuum seal thing.

Stuffed peppers using my new Aldi’s Insta pot. It was on sale marked down from $59 to $39. So I figured I’d give it a try. A new learning curve. :)

Today, we're having fried biala (white) kielbasa, potato and cheese pierogi slathered in sour cream and sprinkled with dill, homemade bigos mysiliwski (known as hunter's stew. Made with white cabbage, sauerkraut, a bit of tomato paste, dried forest mushrooms, bay leaves, black peppercorns, allspice, diced kabanosy (dry sausage) and venison I had frozen), Polish rye bread with smalec (pork lard and bacon) topped with sliced fresh cucumber, homemade zupa ogorkowa (pickle soup) and for dessert. Makowiec (poppy seed roll). No pics. Got my camera and stuff packed and ready to move to the new digs.

Shepard’s Pie. The meat started out as a pot roast my mom use to make. Chuck Roast with a can of mushroom soup and Lipton’s mushroom onion soup. We ate that for 3 nights and I morfed it into Shepards Pie using Bob Evans Mashed potatoes, peas and cheese on top.
