I would have been very happy with the paper version. The work on that one alone is very impressive. I look forward to seeing what both of you come up with.

So here are some pictures of the cardboard model. Unfortunately taken then with a Motorola RazrV3, so not that high quality.

The 3D-Modeling is ongoing, it´s quiet difficult to find appropriate pictures of the side, front, back and top view. So it ´s a lot of try and error.

So this is the actual status of my 3D-Model.

The main surfaces are done, all of the details of the outer shell, the interior and the engine compartment have to be done.

Somehow I missed this one but I'm glad I found it.

Impressive work so far... as always. I'll be watching with great interest.

The front is getting better...

Moving forward. The front is almost ready.

There will be seven 3D printed parts. I still wonder how to do the glass parts...

Thank you! I added more details to the front and started with the chassis. To have all parts ready will take some time, but I‘m confident to get  it done.

That is correct. I am doing a model of the first version, which is an evolution of the bb CW311 - a one of unveiled 1979.

1280px-Isdera_imperator_1.jpgpicture from Wikipedia of the first Imperator series.

Both cars were styled and designed by Eberhard Schulz. I met him when he still ran Isdera in Leonberg-Warmbronn around 2005.

Just my thoughts!

I could not resist to start with the hood and the doors before the chassis is finished. But now I can be sure to get all parts done. The CAD system is tricky sometimes.

Cool!! Nice to see the progress. Looks very promising - well done! So while I only have some stupid CAD files, you have a real model. I see it´s going to be really fine model.

Thanks, Bud, but i had to redo the angle of the rear cowl...it was too sloped...hence the unrealistic height just above the taillights...its all fixed now.
