426 pack
As far as I know it is a Plymouth satellite but would like to know if it is a factory paint job and if so how rare it is.
Casey
No, not factory, but most definitely a one of a kind paint job, making it rare indeed.
DumpyDan
Did you take other pics, was the hood there and does the roof have the same paint scene? Sure is interesting would like to know more.
Snake45
Definitely not factory. I don't think Plymouth even had a green like that in 1966-67. I don't think any manufacturer did.
1972coronet
Looks like that bad boy's been there for some time ... Are you able to open its driver's side door and read its V.I.N. ?

Sure is interesting would like to know more. that is all the pics I got of it, the roof is painted the same colour, the hood is not on the car but it is might be it the General area, it was original a 383 car but the guy who owned it just bought it for the motor, it is missing the front suspension, it has a 8-3/4 rear axle, it’s sitting on its side and he will sell it to me for $50. That is all I know about it.

Having been sitting on the ground that way for a long time, I'm betting it's gonna have at least some rust issues. Those Mopars rust bad enough in the normal position, can't imagine what happens when it's sitting on a side that probably didn't have ANY rust protection. Get more pics if you can. That car's got loads of character!
426 pack
I have convinced my parents to let me bring it home and there are 3 more vehicles that I’m going to try and Make a deal with the guy that owns them. late 60s Newport with a 440 1980s dodge W150 with a 318 and what looks like Dana 60s late 60s dodge sweptline with a
GMP440
Definetly grab the sweptline truck. Looks like 69. Demand is slowly increasing on those early D series trucks. If you can swing the Satellite and Chrysler at least they don't head to the crusher.

If you want to build something find the best and most solid car/truck you can find. Rust is hard to deal with and you will keep finding it.. 426 pack
Yeah the sweptline is one of the best ones I have seen aside from the fact that the drivers side fender looks like it kissed a tree but that is an easy fix.
JollySipper
The 440 in the Newport is probably the high compression one (TNT I think it's called?) That would be a beast in the Sweptline!

If it has a 440 it's low compression, not a TNT Edited July 13, 2018 by THarrison351
