dougwintz Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 Hi. Here is Hasegawa's Mazda Cosmo Sport. I'm not a fan of curbside, but this was a really interesting subject. One of the mistakes that I made was not reading instructions beforehand. There are several holes in the model for different versions, and i neglected to fill them before I painted. I found a solution though, which was to take some used micro brushes, cut off the tip, and use a portion of the brush to fill the holes. Luckily, the color was a really close match to the white. Lesson learned, right? There is always something.
THarrison351 Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 Sure looks sharp. I have that kit too. Someday I'll get too it. Great inspiration.
Classicgas Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 Nice. Does Hasegawa have a stock version of that car?
ChrisR Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 (edited) Hasegawa does make a stock version. Edited October 3, 2018 by ChrisR
Mike999 Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 Along with the stocker and racer, Hasegawa also does the Cosmo as an L10B police car. It has parts and decals for the Hiroshima Prefectural Police or Tokyo Metropolitan Police. There are also several versions of the kit that were used in Japanese TV shows and movies, if you want something really different.
Gramps46 Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 Impressive build. I especially like the lights.
