Turberticus Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 I finished this a few weeks ago but recently took pics with my DSLR. Painted with Gravity Colors Rosso SF70H and cleared with Splash Paints 2K clear. I also used the Studio 27 carbon fiber decals. Overall this was a very enjoyable build.
Jim N Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 Great job! The paint and decal work are excellent.
Gramps46 Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 Very well done, congratulations on a super build.
Belugawrx Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 Nice paint and decals Chris Is there an engine under that rear panel ?

Nope, this is curbside. The teams are so secretive these days that there's no point, plus the power units are extraordinarily compact and are normally covered with heat shielding and panels so it wouldn't really look like an engine.
stevehansen Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 Exceptional build, very clean detail!!!
bbowser Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 Great model, very clean and crisp. We need more open wheel cars on here.
89AKurt Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 That's looks really sharp! I can't imagine painting around all those funny aerodynamic appendages, that's insane! The engine area looks like a motorcycle.
Cpt Tuttle Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 When it comes to modern Formula 1 cars, I don't have a clue about very much, but it sure looks convincing to me. All the decal work is something that I don't envy you race car builders, it can really make or break a build, but in this case there's nothing to complain about there. Nice!
carmad1957 Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 Goodness gracious! That is no doubt spectacular! Is this the Tamiya kit?
