Metalmad Posted April 18, 2020 Author Posted April 18, 2020 Thank you Dan I appreciate the encouragement !
Metalmad Posted April 20, 2020 Author Posted April 20, 2020 Found some time today to polish out the paint and I also was able to tape everything off to get the engine bay painted semi gloss black so next will be the fun task of the foiling.
Curt Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 Looking good, Seth! It will really pop when you get the foil done.
Metalmad Posted June 21, 2020 Author Posted June 21, 2020 Hello All and a Happy Farther's Day to all the Father"s here ! Well I have finally started the fun task of foiling the Goat today and I'm hoping to wrap up the foiling tomorrow sometime and then its time for the final assembly.
Spottedlaurel Posted June 21, 2020 Posted June 21, 2020 It really doesn't sound like you enjoy foiling! Looking at the quality of the rest of your build I'm sure it'll be fine and will set that paintwork off beautifully.
Metalmad Posted June 22, 2020 Author Posted June 22, 2020 I have finally finished the fun task of foiling the GTO which it took me around 7 hours to foil all the areas that have chrome so next will be to add the glass add rear view mirror.
Metalmad Posted June 22, 2020 Author Posted June 22, 2020 Thank you Nigel & Bill ..... the GTO has a lot of chrome and yes foiling is not one of my favorite things to do but I think it came out ok.
Bills72sj Posted June 22, 2020 Posted June 22, 2020 Very nice foiling. Is the front bumper kit chrome or did you redo it?
