disconovaman Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 Dead Builds Challange Blazer I Gotter Done before 2019! It's been part of my collection for 25+ years and I've rebuilt it a number of times... I may or may not redo it agian but this 70's theme is ok for now. I'm gonna start tryin to find another one I think...Thanks for looking! Have a Happy and Safe New Year!
disconovaman Posted January 3, 2019 Author Posted January 3, 2019 Thanks! That's the look I was goin for, all the colors I thought of painting it are kinda current now so the tan was a last miniute choice. I was going to go 50's aqua but I could see myself wanting to change that sooner than later... Also I didn't clear coat the hood yet because I still want to add hood stripes simular to these. I just didn't have time to design them before the deadline. In the last pic you can see the difference with and without clear but I'll get it done soon... just so many projects on the bench right now...
Lordmodelbuilder Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 Great job on bringing that one back from so many rebuilds! Looks sweet!
Rusty92 Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 Whoa that is really cool. I did not know there was a flip nose Blazer. Jacob

disconovaman Posted January 4, 2019 Author Posted January 4, 2019 Thanks Jacob... My inspiration comes from the guys on here so it's nice to know that I can pass it on somehow... I do think we are better modelers when we have an audience...
Oldcarfan27 Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 I remember seeing your "before" pics and what a mess it was when you started. It sure looks great now and I'm so impressed that you were able to finish it. I would have just given up on it back then. Congrats! Another dead one back from the grave.
1930fordpickup Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 You did a good job on this old beater, nice save .
