ewetwo
It’s not finished but here is my garage diorama so far... I’m thinking windows in the top third of the back wall. Above the tool chest, work table and such. Maybe a window and/or door on the side.
Gramps46
Way to go. I think your idea of high windows is a good one. I am planning on doing that with my next garage scene.

ewetwo
Thank you guys. I do have stuff for the walls but I’m waiting till I get the doors/windows done. Stain the floors a bit. Great suggestions. Got me thinking. :-)

tbill
Maybe make a heater, the old style that hung off the ceiling, could mount it up in the corner. Possibly some speakers hung in the corners as well, gotta have tunes out in the garage

Mike999
Here's some inspiration for you; Francois Verlinden's 1980s diorama of a California Highway Patrol garage. IIRC, he went to a real CHP garage and took photos. This diorama is a great example of "the more you look at it, the more neat little details you see." Flat32
Look for a better scale representation of a block wall while you can IMHO.
gasser59
I completely agree. Add more stuff to the walls, makes it much more interesting. Here's a picture of the scratch-built overhead heater I put in my diorama. Edited April 5, 2019 by gasser59
ewetwo
Cool pic. I'm not that talented to build a heater. LOL. I do have stuff for the wall and such. Just a fun background for the photos.

I just bought one and I think it’s was a great purchase. You didn’t have to be an expert. It’s easy to learn and you can download, for free, lots of models made by others, and print them yourself. Today I downloaded a bunch of mold files for to make bricks, cinder blocks etc. Your diorama looks great. You already have the talent, so I can only imagine what you can you printing your own accessories.
