madhorseman Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 Hey! Did anyone notice that Peter Tork of the( Prefab Four) Monkees has died?
Renegade Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 Yep, been all over the internet. 77 years old, only two Monkees left. Mike Nesbitts mother died and left him a fortune. She was the inventor of Liquid Paper.
Snake45 Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 Have a Pleasant Valley Sunday forever, Peter. This one's for you.

Lizard Racing Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 Just watch out for Auntie Grizelda. Peter was the creative one. He had a Masters degree as I remember.

A friend mentioned it to me before I saw it online, although he said it was the drummer who had passed (this friend is in his mid 20's), and when I asked about Mickey Dolenz he tells me that it was Peter Tork that had passed. He was surprised that I had been so familiar with them after explaining that Peter was more of a bass player as well as did singing, Nesmith's Mom inventing Liquid Paper and other little facts.

I thought Peter was the keyboardist

Mickey Dolenz is not only an actor and a musician, but he's a physics geek who has made two stops at the nearby Fermilab facility! https://www.chicagotribune.com/suburbs/aurora-beacon-news/opinion/ct-abn-crosby-fermi-monkee-st-0217-20170217-column.html
slusher Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 The Monkees was pretty cool. Hate we lost another on. I use to watch the show and had a couple 45's. May he rest in peace"..
