LaughingIndian Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 I know what ya mean Steve ... I cover up my starts in black cloth and go on to something else ... as dementia sets in so goes the many surprises when I uncover ‘em ... it’s like Christmas morning ...

Twokidsnosleep Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 I don't have to build in such a big scale as 1/12....nothing to compensate for
nickfzr61 Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Coming along nicely. I like your weathering. That is something that i have trouble with.
Belugawrx Posted April 16, 2019 Author Posted April 16, 2019 I did a little chipping and dusting with Tamiya's weathering master powders.. Next I'll try a little graphite powder rubbed into the crevasses 1
Chris Smith Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Should look good, I do like how it is coming along ?
Belugawrx Posted October 9, 2020 Author Posted October 9, 2020 It's been far too long between updates... So heres one got the engine mounted to the cockpit, now all of those sub assemblies have a place to be mounted. (I see I will need to upgrade my camera,...these pics are terrible) I've been slammed at work all summer, and have only managed an hour at most at the bench per week. questions, comments, always welcome Cheers 1
Chris Smith Posted October 9, 2020 Posted October 9, 2020 Taking shape my friend! Only a matter of time before she’s complete.

Questions and Comments always welcome Cheers 1
Chris Smith Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 Looks fantastic! The new camera does your build justice. I am digging everything about this car... just don’t get overly critical. Way too easy to overthink or over analyze what you have done. I think your doing a outstanding job!! Chris
Kemszi Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 It's looks amazing, the details are fantastic, and stunning?
cor Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 I like the weathering. It gives a level of realism you dont often see. Im thinking of building this or the 312B. Great job.
89AKurt Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 Love it! When I was a teen, built Niki Lauda's car, loved the kit, ruined the wheels. Looking awesome.

The pandemic has not changed my work schedule one bit, still out there working my butt off. Stay safe and build something lol Cheers
Bainford Posted January 7, 2021 Posted January 7, 2021 Just found this thread. Excellent work. I’m watching.
Belugawrx Posted February 6, 2023 Author Posted February 6, 2023 (edited) Welp, I thought it was time to pull this one out and finally finish something... She's up on all fours, just a bit more plumbing to do, exhaust hold down springs, wire the instrument cluster, and on and on.. I wet sanded (1000g) the body shell and shot it with 3 coats of Duplicolor #CBVW2037 Tornado Red..I'll wait a couple of days and repeat the process. Glad to be back at the bench Cheers Edited February 19, 2023 by Belugawrx 3

Pierre Rivard Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 A beauty Bruce. For sure it will be #12 right? I was at the Canadian GP the previous year when Gilles took his first win.
